Idk if the the mates thing was planned, or they backtracked from the shota route. Either way, I’m actually glad.
Nils got to experience his first love and first heartbreak but at least his loved ones are there for him to guide him. Acceptance and support for the reunited mates would be really mature for his age if it does happen and it’s not a bad expectation.
It was honestly a bit random but I’m glad that they didn’t change to accommodate Nil’s childhood crush. Age appropriate romance lah
