I totally agree but i will say it is pretty fetishized i think thats an ongoing theme in this collab, rape scenes are usually for fetish reasons when its this explicit and has the format of an average porn video/smut yaoi! but i think ur input was really interesting
gonna preface this by saying the elements within emotion are obviously horrible before people start yapping at me. but anyways, i absolutely loved that story. i think it’s my favorite out of the compilation so far. really fits to release it during halloween month because… wow. it took my breath away. what a utterly horrifying story. been a bit since i’ve felt so disgusted yet fascinated. the artist really pulled out all the stops with the facial expressions, and the writer really hit me in the heart with one of my favorite ideas to see explored (sociopaths). as a narrative piece? sensational, and right up my alley.
i think emotion is a great example of using darker themes such as an explicit rape scene, but use it as a way to further the story it intends to tell, and actually had a use of being there. it doesn’t feel fetishized at all, it genuinely feels fucking horrifying and gut wrenching to read. wow. wow wow wow. i absolutely loved that. i really wish other BLs would take a page out of this one. if u plan on putting explicit rape in ur story, use it as a piece to further your plot/add horror elements, instead of just 10 chps of the same rape scene just to dwell and fetishize it. honestly? i liked the ending. this was a story that should stay short, and i love that i’m left wondering. what a wonderful horror piece.
