RIGHT? i understand if the ml was an ass to her in the past & present timeline but he's wasn't & still isn't. he respected her but just didn't love her in the first timeline. however, now that she's mindful & self aware she knows not to be blinded by him in the context that he's manipulating her, which he's not. she sees him for who he is & can finally accept him. ppl just want to read something angsty for no reason regardless of whether it clashes with the plot or not ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
