Why is the boyfriend in this so sweet. I read all 12 chapters, but wanted more since the plot is interesting so I went to read the novel. When I was reading this I felt sorry for her boyfriend since he was so sweet and caring and unaware of the fact that his gf was being molested by the demon. But when I went to read the novel we find out in like 3-4 chapter that he is an ass who sleeps with other women while waiting for his "conservative girlfriend" to finnaly let him score her. And in the moment where the whole mansion is talking about Anna becoming the personal maid, Joseph asks her to talk with him: here we have the silly romantic worry and date invitation, in the novel he straight up tells her to let him fuck her before the master goes it "wouldn't you like your first time to be with your boyfriend? Unless you already spread your legs for the demon" (or something in this tone).
Im really wondering why they changed his personality that much. Honestly after reafing the novel I'm cheerin for the ML and wishing our FL stops caring for the ass of a boyfriend.
