I think some people don’t realize that backstories are explanations for why a character behaves the way they do and it’s not always a justification for their actions. At the end of the day Caesar is an ABUSER. He’s harmed ruby multiple times and pushed her over the edge in several different ways. Even though now we know that wasn’t his initial intentions at first, he’s still abused her and even assaulted her.
This story is over 100+ chapters of ruby detailing her abuse from her family and it only takes 4 chapters of ceasar’s backstory for you guys to just completely forgive him just because he’s a victim too??
And yes he isn’t a victim too and the ultimate source of everyone’s problems in that family is their bitch ass father but let’s not forget about everything he’s done too. He is a victim turned abuser. Enzo was abused too and notice how he never treated ruby in that way as well??
