I don’t think the Duke’s affected by the curse, I think he’s just a psycho.
For what I get is that the duke never loved Tatiana (the bitch) and that is why on their wedding night he pull out a knife at her (maybe he was drawn to her bc of the bracelet but he kinda woke up from the spell idk). Nevertheless, he IS a PSYCHO, I don't believe it is the curse I think is just his personality, + he genuinely hates Tatiana and blames her for destroying his life (with Karina).

I was thinking the exact same thing until the last chapter because they showed him with the same crazy eyes as their spermdonor, the previous king, when he was acting up because of the curse.

I think that is just to show how much he loathes her. The late emperor never hated Selena, for what I understood, it was like the curse projected his jealousy and insecurities to force him to hit her. The duke sounds "cuerdo" (idk how you say that in English, sorry), as if he knows what and why he's doing that to Tatiana.
It seems like the one the emperor choses is the one who inherents the curse. Or... All he kids get it ans whatever Selena did to make her son uncoquerable also made him imune to the curse. I think this because the curse seems to be age related and the duke who is the king's half younger brother seems to be affected by the curse now. But it could also be a side effect of bitch using the bracelet o him and chosing him. If that's the case, could the other MLs ne about to have it too?
