from my understanding of it, its due to the fact that they are committing genocide towards one group of people in order to obtain that land. Palestinians have been there for awhile now and for a while they have been trying to get rid of them by unjust means. Genocide is bad so Israel who is committing the genocide is bad, u know? Yes purposely starving people is considered mass murder! Yes they decided to use the fighting back of a few to justify it! Zionist is from from the word Zion. According to the bible Zion is the land that god promised the Israelites. A Zionist is someone that believes in their right to this land no matter the cost. The issue is that ‘Zion’ is already inhabited by Palestinians, so to be a Zionist means you support the pushing out of these people. Pushing out by; reducing resources, minimizing access to the outside world and building whatever they want in the middle of communities. As a result they move further and further out ward leading to the Gaza Strip.
