I’m pretty sure I big part of it is cause somewhere around the middle(?) of the war arc, it started deviating from how it went in the novel and ppl didn’t like how they changed it

Did you expect a big fight? It's a good ending. Her forgiving her sister is coherent with her character, have you read the story or were you just skipping through the panels?
