The guards are following them by Richard's command without Courtney's knowledge.
It's stated on the first panel. "I didn't bother informing Courtney that Anton and the knights were accompanying us on the outing."
Then why did the red haired dude said "jackpot" when be saw richard? I thought that was implying they were gonna kidnap them? Even more so before be said jackpot he was like: "so they're nobles ladies, aye?"
My response didnt come through lemme say it again. The "jackpot" thing probably means of seeing a new side of Richard( as in Richard being embarrassed of pretending to be a noble woman and Anton seeing it inrl had fun seeing this side of him. Yk how their relationship goes. ) in other words, anton felt satisfied seeing richard being embarrassed rather his usual demure.
As for "so they're noble ladies, aye?" he said that to the old lady, who was selling stuff. Anton stated their obvious status of both courtney and richard— Anton means to shut the old lady mouth and pretend that they weren't there or she dont know a single thing.
Anyway this is just how i understood the panels(๑•ㅂ•)و✧ and the new chapter shows it really was Anton.
But in short he was keeping their identity secret and shutting the curious onlookers! (=・ω・=) privacy stuff

Can someone please explain to me about the red hair guy? Is he the body guard or a possible kidnapper? Cause why on chap 73 he acted like he doesn't know them and now on chap 74 male lead glared at them to not follow them as if they are the guards? Idk I'm so confused
