Nooooo my Yua stocks and glorious dreams (╯°Д °)╯╧╧. I actually don't like spoilers, but thank you for the offer and the heads up. I now know to brace myself for the ending... Man, I just hope she does go back home like she's been saying all this time. That's my minimum at this point. If her dream and purpose suddenly changes because of a guy (whom I like) and she ends up staying to serve as a baby factory .... (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸

so basically at the end yua Does go back home, but only for 2 years. the plan was to have her graduate high-school so that she can come back and marry the prince... yeah. its so icky to me bc she was like 16 and the prince was 20+ when they met and then they waited for her to be like idk 19 do at the end she just ended up becoming a baby making machine for the kingdom like they wanted initially even if its framed as her "choosing love" when she was pretty much groomed from the beginning and its shown as romantic... it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
let's not even talk about the fact that the novel ended with a heterosexual marriage (a really weird and questionable one at that) and not the main couple getting married. like excuse me, did the main characters change or something while i wasn't noticing ??? and with some lame ass excuse like "oh that's not like us to want too much attention anyway"... like okay...?
anyway yeah, the yua plot pissed me off do bad it was weird and predatory and very uncomfortably patriarchal-heterosexual.
So glad I invested in Yua's stocks early on, even though it was mostly out of spite. Imagine blatantly hating her, calling her a bitch and treating her as some irredeemable witch when she's just a displaced 16 year-old kid. I always say this but it's sooo funny to me how y'all will always show more empathy and grace for yaoi slop abusers and rapists than literally any well-written women, or in this case, girl.
