Ok I'll be completely honest, I liked the first more or less 20 chapters and the final ones (there are 63) but I found the middle volumes to be boring, mostly because I'm not that into political plots, palace bullying etc., and it was all dragged on a lot in my opinion. Not to mention the freaking miscommunication between the main couple AAAAAHHH that was frustrating to watch (to be fair the non-communicative one was only the prince). I was expecting more of a fun dynamic and epic revolution with Marguerite, the princess of the fallen kingdom, as the head and symbol but she was forced to be passive and repressed for like 80-90% of the story and the revolution never even happened (for fair reasons, but still). HOWEVER, THE FATHER-DAUGHTER RELATIONSHIP WAS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS THAT EVER CAME OUT OF A SHOUJO MANGA they were the absolute cutest oh my God!!! He was so present and supportive of her the whole story, I could feel the love they had for each other through the screen. Without a doubt my favorite part of this story and probably one of my favorite depictions of familial love in all the mangas/hwas I have read. At one point I'll admit that I was much more bothered by the (rare) absence of the father than of the male lead
