YOURE SO RIGHT!! i cant believe i havent seen more people talking about this. seeing taehyun do that to beom is seriously uncomfortable and it hurts knowing why hes doing it, also beom not leaving is making me pull my hairs out dude he feels responsable in the worst sense of the word dawg because if he does leave he will feel like taehyun not being well is his fault
in the end, both of their situations are caused by trauma and taehyuns actions cant be justified obviously, i really hope we get to see them actually work it out together and taehyun apologizing properly soon

guys all the kissing that's been going on isn't supposed to be romantic, and neither is the author trying to romanticise it (as can be seen by how awkwardly they write those scenes, with little to no communication or explanation. the main tone of every one of those scenes is discomfort). taehyun is a traumatized young boy who's been through SA, so his feelings and actions are all messed up. in his attempt to "protect" hyunbeom by getting him to exit taehyun's doomed life, he does the one thing he knows makes people uncomfortable; sexual intimacy, because it once made him uncomfortable. he just wants to disgust and offend hyunbeom so much to the point where he leaves on his own terms because hyunbeom is a responsibility ridden idiot too. DOES THAT MEAN THAT ANY OF IT IS JUSTIFIED? no. it can be explained, but not justified. trauma gives you context for someone's actions but it never excuses it. what taehyun is doing is still taking advantage of it, but all i'm trying to say is people also look at it a bit from his pov and sympathise with him. i do hope he gets a fulfilling redemption arc.
