I have experienced a similar situation with two exes, and we're all adults, so we just greet each other normally and kept our interactions strictly professional, cuz pretending not to know someone is awful. Idk about right or wrong, cuz everyone has their own feelings and their own reasons, especially in a break up, it can be pretty complicated, but it is terrible, saying out loud like the ml "oh no, I don't know him"

Oh sure, if it works for you, then it can be good, but in this case it totally backfires. Cuz the ml seems to want to pretend everything happened and just move on, so he doesn't need to suffer again. But he's putting too much effort in this whole act, so it doesn't seem to be doing him any good (these are just my own conclusions from what I've seem so far)

Yeah, after some time observating the ml, Dohu really started loving him, and I thought it was terrible when the ml slapped him with some truth, about him not knowing about feelings and stuff, but Dohu seems to be autistic, so if you think about it, accusing the behavior of a person with mental illness it's pretty bad too (⊙…⊙ )
Pretending not to know Dohu? Damn, what a dick move, that was actually awful
