I'm mad at that funeral too but give it a go it's entertaining. As for explanation, it's not being told directly but circumstances as he continued to run the preschool gave MC hints. Later, manager told him about his mom's circumstances but nothing from the mom yet. I'm thinking, the system could be his mom though. When he completes his inheritance he might get a message or something.
