is this even revenge anymore

at some point you start understanding why superheros don't take revenge on villains "because they'll turn out just like them or worse" and this is a prime example of that.

I know the MC raped him in the past and ML wanted to dish out what' he received but this is just unnecessary... How about you put him in mother fucking jail?? Hes actively getting enjoyment for this and I don't know whether he's already gone off the deep end or if he's edging there every single second his with MC. This ain't fucking revenge anymore (I hate this stupid bitch ass creator. suck my balls) it's an excuse to portray the creators concerning rape kink that's in both of her most popular works.

Gots to see it through, my boy. ( ̄ε(# ̄)Σ

Though, I’ve heard rumors of the MC doing horrendous things in the past. (Not sure if they’re true or not)

The authors writing really reels you in, and the suspense makes you come back. I just really can’t wait for the backstory to drop to further explain things. (Not saying the ML is completely justified in his actions, I can say this is more of a “morally grey” story or something darker than that.)

Dude Jiwook did get caught and reported to the police when he raped Juyeon. And what did they do? Gave him community service. Which pissed him off so bad that he posted Juyeon’s CSEM everywhere. Go get your lick back little twunk. (Also, this story was not written by the same person who wrote Sadistic Beauty. They only share an illustrator)

thank you for the insight I actually didn't know that. I only knew of the past rape because every single person in teg comments kept spoiling it for me. Is my opinion different though no I don't think, but I think he shoulda killed him at some point.

I'm guilty i read the novel, and as you said it seems it was a way for the autor to show all his/her dark kinks and fantasies.
But what i rescue from the story that infuriantes me( leaving aside all the explicit scenes), is that i do feel bad and pity the seme but the child he was, and the serie of events that led him to become that, for he wasn't going to take revenge. I got mad at the mother that left his son alone with his trauma. I pity the uke but he was trash, we don't really know much about him(he's just there as an object for the autor's desires,

And everything started because seme fell in love with uke, and uke liked him to but was to proud/ narcissistic to admit it so he choose violence.
In the end they both are trapped, they did it themselves, they choke and tie each other. Seme never went to theraphy, uke goes but not much improvement.

Not excusing anything and I haven't read the novel only spoilers and I agree that this is kink but IIRC from other webtoons that I read but also irl cases in Korea, when minors commit rape they end up with a slap in the hand. Also many victim blame the poor victims including police like they brought tgis to themselves/wanted it...bleugh. A very common example is Miryang middle school girl gang rape case. And in general even with adults, in Korea rape and violence against women is treated very lightly because its a very misogynistic society and they even pamper pedophiles ending with very light sentences. You better be a pedophile in Korea than a feminist bc they really hate feminists and blame them for the low birth ratings instead of their actions and high domestic violence, pedophilia or rape statics.
Also the Burning sun scandal. Fr in Korea if you steal gum from a store you end up with bigger sentence than what you get for raping a f child or rape in general. Its really fucked up their legal system.

Back to topic, same sex gay violence/rape treated as a joke and homophobia many were ashamed to confess or police made fun of them so maybe that's why seme didn't go to police and take law in his hands bc legal system fails and end up with a slap in the hand and then made fun by society. Really fucking fucked up.

Also some say that uke in both here and sadistic beauty is based on writers ex bf, who was really abusive to her smth, so all this violence in her stories is a way of her to vent her frustrations on him because she couldn't get justice in real life.

Idk everything is really fucked up. In my opinion BL are more than that just rape/venting your frustrations, but if that gives the author a little consolation, sure freedom of writing exists and can write whatever tf she wants and people are free to read it or drop it she isn't committing any crime or forcing anyone to read it at the end of the day.

This! This is exactly how it is. If women’s rape don’t even get considered properly in justice system, forget men’s rape from men. Corrupt politicians don’t care, and bribery is heavily involved.

I read Ouroboros webtoom where MC is a victim of rape by another man and shows how he is treated by his surroundings, society and police/legal system. Really great psychological work! But really shows how f up Koreans legal system is.
Exactly like you said, if they treat rape of women and children so lightly they won't even give a single f about same sex ones too....
In many webtoons that I read abused characters often hide it out of shame, not to be called gay, victim blamed it's really heartbreaking thinking that perpetrators go on with their lives while victims suffer in silence and even blamed for what has been done to them.

Not a great example but in this works case, seme is angry at first meeting uke bc he sees that uke hasn't changed at all, he is still violent and treats people lightly. Also probably got angry bc he approached him so casually to flirt with him, when in the past he got abused so violently by him just because he confessed his feelings to him and that hurt ukes pride (and was living in gay denial liked him too iirc). And ofc angry bc he forgot what he did to him and just goes on with his life while seme suffered all those years.
