your example is irrelevant & still doesn't justify how he was an ass or how he cheated on her. she says it time again that he respected her & treated her fairly. they both agreed to the arranged marriage & she was aware of the possibility of him marrying other concubines. she misunderstood his courtesy for love & crossed the line (literally attempted to murder someone). & you do realize that in the first timeline, her feelings were one sided but the current timeline it's reciprocated right?
