Yeah at least in the new chapter they spent some strips -narratively- explaining the matter. If his power is above the average than it acceptable that he was still able to transpass. It was just hilarious after all the attention the ml apparently put on her security. I'm all about the ml charm, but in this specific situation (even when he intervened)... He was a little but useless. But you gotta love a strong independent heroine, and it was her time to shine through in the script apparently
