The funny thing is that I don't like Hori in Horimiya either lol She's toxic. But the rest of the characters are redeeming, and the relationships are portrayed quite realistically.
I tried watching anime, but the amount of dramas there made me laugh more than it made me feel emotional.The conflict between the schools is absurd, the attitude of the girls, constant apologies, etc. I've tried a bit of manga now, but I'm basically the same way. I guess I'm too old for it, or the saccharine nature isn't quite right for me.Horimiya is already more realistic
