unless there’s a novel who are we to criticize the ml? he hasn’t even been formally addressed and rather has been pulling strings from the background. How can you like the emperor’s manipulation but then not fw the real puppet master Rohan… I mean cmon this is obviously a slowburn not fully focused on romance and rather a story. And tbh It’s better that way
