Korean Mahnwas have mostly red flag MLs in all types of love stories aimed at women, it doesn't matter if it's BL or hetero romance for women. At the very least Korean mahnwas have a trope where red flag MLs become green flags thanks to character development later on, which I've never seen in Japanese BL before.
