Yes it’s a mess but some people are like that. Ive always looked at stories with black/white lens instead of various shades of gray. It’s something I’m trying to do. It’s been a years since I read the story but I think I left it feeling satisfied. I will have to reread it.

Their ending wasn’t happy though. It seems that way to the MC and maybe at first glance. However, the editor—she was insecure in her looks and settled for the first guy that gave her attention. And ex-bf is about to do the same thing—cheat (if I remember). The author I think hints at these. Their whole relationship was built with plastic and we, the audience, know it’ll break probably off screen. we know they won’t really be “happy.” (I still haven’t reread it but I think I remember that much)
When she tries- she can write good stuff. This story and and they have another one not listed here, that are good. All the other romance stories though—not my taste.
