ngl it would be a drag to me if I didn't mark chapters from spoilers beforehand that has mc gaining something like body modifications, but it has a reasonable pace imo, the novel would not benefit of a faster power gaining.
he gains a bit of his OP powers (SS class for humans though) in chapter 325, but before that he gains an s class body in ch 170+? so he's not really weak for long.
