About the first timeline, it is straight angst through near the end. It was a tragic life and the deeply saddening thing about it is neither Carcel nor Ines did anything wrong to anyone but this person took upon themselves to destroy Carcel and Ines’s life. The couple was completely innocent. They were engaged from a young age so they were rightfully each other’s partner. They were faithful to each other from childhood so there wasn’t another person who should’ve interfered.
Prolly cause she was married to Cesar and every time he saw Ines talk to Carcel he’d become jealous and rape +beat her
That was an intense start to the chapter. Everytime new dialogue from the first timeline between Carcel and Ines is revealed, it feels like Ines was pretty horrible towards him while he just took it probably cause he’s the more laidback than her.
But also we don’t have full context, so maybe it’ll make sense when we do. I’m not sure.
