About the first timeline, it is straight angst through near the end. It was a tragic life and the deeply saddening thing about it is neither Carcel nor Ines did anything wrong to anyone but this person took upon themselves to destroy Carcel and Ines’s life. The couple was completely innocent. They were engaged from a young age so they were rightfully each other’s partner. They were faithful to each other from childhood so there wasn’t another person who should’ve interfered.
Prolly cause she was married to Cesar and every time he saw Ines talk to Carcel he’d become jealous and rape +beat her
Thanks for the in-depth spoilers. It’s unfortunate it won’t be in the manhwa but there’s a chance they may add it as a part of a long set of side stories.
I think tha’s technically her 2nd life since she’s remembering the life she forgot now.
Oh, I forgot to mention that you’re right. Ines was an extremely difficult wife to Carcel in the first timeline. That’s why I always say his love was the most tested by far in this story. Nothing else can compare.
When I used to discuss the novel with fellow novel readers two years ago, I always used to say quite honestly I would have dumped a spouse like Ines and I think most men would have done the same. Even Ines knows Carcel must really love her to put up with the way she treated him in the first timeline.
That’s why when she made her wish after her unfated death in the first true timeline, she wished that he would find a BETTER wife than her. Well, this current arc is supposed to now make her that BETTER wife and it leads to her fulfilling her original wish for Carcel herself. That’s one of the reasons why she’s only getting the memories of the worst moments in the first timeline. Notice their impact on her. She’s actually learning to be a better wife each time she remembers what a difficult wife she was to him.
Yes. I really liked ch110 cause it showed Ines using her memories to fix her mistakes in a way. Particularly, her expressing verbally that she likes him and that she’s praying for him.
Exactly. This continues right to the last page of the main story. She’s learning and growing. For example, she wasn’t even close to Carcel’s mom in the first true timeline. Her psychology was very messed up because her mother had the most influence on her then. Her mother also abused her physically, emotionally and mentally. So she was a complicated and stubborn person. However, watch her build genuine mutual relationships this time around with a lot of people for the first time in any life.
That was an intense start to the chapter. Everytime new dialogue from the first timeline between Carcel and Ines is revealed, it feels like Ines was pretty horrible towards him while he just took it probably cause he’s the more laidback than her.
But also we don’t have full context, so maybe it’ll make sense when we do. I’m not sure.
