He said he didn’t want her to take care of him and he knew she would. If he stayed and got worse he would’ve died anyways and left her alone with the baby for good.. at least knowing he left should could’ve held onto the belief that one day he’d come back
I really wished he told her before he left his memories might have come back sooner and she probably wouldn't have died the way she did
