Exactly, and this author wrote doridosim which I read way back and really liked. So I picked this...but then....this....no offense to whoever likes this it's just fiction anyway, and to each their own. But I just hated it....after that chapter 40 and how the "redemption" arc (literally non existent) went. Also, the thing is that he was keeping his options open which is fine...but then acting so sentimental like bruh....And tbh, those side stories and all the fluffy that followed kinda felt like salt on wounds haha and Hwi gave faster than the speed of light lol. Like of course Hwi is the ML so it's not like we would be able to see him get together with someone else and the mc finally feeling what Hwi felt. N evil me wishes hwi just "accidentally" sleeps with someone who has a crush on him before going out with the mc too. Let's see how kind the mc and the audience are to him then lol. Anyway, regardless of whether the mc or the ml does this...i would hate it either way.
HWI DESERVES BETTER. Honestly the first time I read it I was just relieved they made up and that Mr Han wasn’t the ml but this fucker doesn’t deserve Hwi. At all.
