Well...Dodome has been in love with Hakugin since childhood. Of course he woke up Koro so Hakugin wouldn't marry Yurito and come to him instead. Hakugin suffered a lot as a child as well so I can understand his sentiments.
Pls help because my stupid brain thought Dodome liking Hakugin was inc3st, the first times I read this I thought that Dodome, Hakugin, and Coro were all brothers and had more brothers..but Coro and Hakugin are the only ones who are brothers, right? Pls help
Yeah so Hakugin's mom ended up cheating on Hakugin's dad with Coro's dad and had Coro. Afterwards, the mom left with Coro's dad because Coro needed to be in that realm to grow properly. So Hakugin grew up resenting both Coro and his dad because his mom got stolen by them. And Coro was abused for being a cheater's son. Dodome is Hakugin's childhood friend.
