Actually i dont read the novel but i understand why he is that way, i dont justify but its not his fault he needs help and josh know that
I highly suggest if you have time to read it. Chase is like a sensitive kid growing up but was traumatized by his parents and siblings soo he kind of became that way
Chase is like a loser, I know. But if you haven’t read the novel, you won’t really get to understand him and the way Josh sees him and became protective of him. But I’m not justifying the violent things he did the way we don’t approve of doing bad things just because you experiences bad things
