me too, I thought there was a missing page or something,
some dialogues doesn't have logic either but I hope it updates, the story sounds fine
I think it's about us being dropped in conversations. Like we are hearing background noise. We tend to block it out on tv shows and movies because it's akin to real life. But it's rarely done in books, at least like this.
I had to read it twice to get the front part but it's not that confusing ._. It'a getting pretty interesting too
