Imma drop this there's a lot of glaring plotholes I can't even defend them in my mind anymore.
Mc's circumstances is so forced. Alienated for what? some absurd rumors? His looks?(Bro looks the most ave looking guy out there ). Why the need to add a sob story? He could've been just a normal meek guy nothing wrong w that
Also the elephant in the room aka the not-son-but-brother. The mom looks healthy as fuck why would she pass the responsibility of a toodler to her son. Girl you made him take care of the kid yourself??
Don't tell me they'll explain next that he calls him "Dad" in the daycare to not feel left out w other kids?? Bruh... what's wrong being brothers?
Ah wait cause we need a plot device to make mc meet ml again..yeah. Also to add jealousy in the formula. But ofcourse we have to make sure he was actually single all along! Cause yearning u know. How shallow!
Worse chapter I've ever read imo
And of course they’ll explain the dad/brother thing in the next chapters. That’s how stories work. You don’t front load all the information or twists in the first chapter. Why would anyone keep reading books were spoiled like that?
Your potholes are all just plot devices that are still being explained in the middle of an unfinished story. If it was completed, I’d understand why you’re so upset but it’s only chapter 16 lol
Yea I agree with you
I love me a good jealousy and misunderstanding plot that's well done, but this is structured very weakly.
But maybe they'll chalk the kid calling the mc 'dad' instead of 'brother' by saying he's just a kid, I mean I called random relatives dad as a toddler myself
I hope they don't go the route u mentioned even tho it seems likely, but it seems weird because if he's in preschool shouldn't the real dad be alive?
This plot feels so unnecessary...i wouldve prefered if they just kept the MC as the real dad and his being separated or some shit than this
you have to look at it through the context of korean society. unfortunately its true that you will be alienated if you are considered good looking (as the bottom is) and not sociable. people will think you're a bitch and not talk to you, you WILL have weird rumours spread about you, esp in middle/high school
as for the mom, I assume she lives in America as they mentioned in the earlier chapters. why? we'll have to find out
for calling him "dad" at daycare, my guess is that they do that to prevent being bullied for not having a dad. again, korean context, kids who have divorced parents get bullied so you can imagine what happens to kids without a dad at all
(I know you're dropping it but I'm just putting this explanation here for other people who might be wondering the same thing!)

We all read the same chapters right? Why did "Dad" suddenly turned "Hyung". Huh?? No decent plot would that make sense
