tbf the ML didn't tell him abt the whole the deal with his grandfather, so it was kinda gaslighting from the start. while the contract was looking like he's helping the MC without MC's knowing that he's actually the one helping the ML (if you get what i mean) also the contract was highly favored the ML, soo I'd be pissed as well

He’s upset because it was an unfair dynamic from the start because the MC was always honest with him. ML made it seem like that the MC was getting all the benefits from their contract so MC felt completely under ML’s mercy. Turns out, he needed MC just as much. I would be pissed too given how arrogant he was as IF HE WAS DOING THE MC FAVORS LIKE SOME KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR. Lmao fuck off.

This is my personal interpretation but while it doesn't help Yigon seeing Tea-kang in a good light, I don't think he is particularly mad for that deal. However it change quite drastically Yigon perception of Tea-kang visiting him, if he wasn't aware he would think Tae-kang was regretful or something but knowing Tea-kang had a benefit to their relatioship Yigon probably see Tae-kang visit as an attempt from Tae-kang to use him for his own interest and nothing more. I think when he tells he knows about the deal between Tea-kang and his grand-father, Yigon is simply telling him to cut the crap.

Y'all the uke literally approached the seme asking for a CONTRACT RELATIONSHIP. He asked for it and now he's upset because he didn't realize the contract helped both of them?
Of course it helped both of them. People don't enter into contracts that don't benefit them.
He's a grown man. He is a businessman. He's been raised in a family of businessmen. He has been taught about business from the time that he was a small child. He's well educated, he has a degree. He has a job.
He's not stupid or ignorant. The author has just completely forgotten who this character is and is making him wildly irrational and emotional to try to make a point. But it's not making the point, it's just undermining the character.
You are making excuses for this poor writing because you feel sorry for the character. You're trying to rationalize their completely irrational behavior. You're trying to use your experiences and your level of knowledge to excuse it, but this character has no excuse.
He has so much to be upset about but the contract being mutually beneficial is not a valid reason. It makes no sense if you think about who the character is and what his experience in life is.
This is just an author being lazy and not truly considering what their character would know when writing a plot to create drama and misunderstandings.

THIS. This is simply what happened, yet it seems people still find it hard to understand.
YES, it is a contract relationship. However it wa void as Taekang betray his part of the deal. And his reason? He was afraid of love that he forced-believe that Yigeon just being anxiously dramatic and delusional.
Taekang betray his part of the deal, people still think Yigeon being unreasonable? Like, what the actual F did you even read from this manhwa.

You're forgetting that the uke spent years building a reputation as a drug addict.
I feel like none of you have ever had to deal with an addict in real life.
You cannot trust an addict. You can love an addict, but you can never trust them. They will lie to you. They will steal from you. They will manipulate you. They will act like they love you in order to get more from you. They will gaslight you when you push back. They will have random bouts of hysterics. They will act delusional.
They will act exactly like this uke.
"How dare the seme not believe every single thing this drug addict says?" Is what you're saying and you don't even realize how ridiculous it sounds.
Now you're going to respond and say he wasn't actually a drug addict but how on earth would the seme know that? You know that because you're reading a story from the uke's point of view. How would a character in the story know that?

How on earth seme know that?
By judging Yigeon's behaviour. Is all the time they were together Yigeon ever acted like a drug addict?
None. Even Taekang admitted for a known drug addict, Yigeon acted and behaved normally. So, why Taekang did what he did? He admitted it in recent update, because he was afraid of falling in love to Yigeon and Yigeon will be his liability. This is just proving Taekang just wanna be blind and justifying his action, just to insurance himself he did right. He must drove Yigeon away. But in the end tho, after all the one sides contract and his harmful words, he has the audacity wishing Yigeon gonna accept him back.
Besides, when you making a contract you gotta do what you promising. Not running away when you see that no longer profitable.
With this kind of a man, why should Yigeon trust him?
For Yigeon, either he chose his brother or Taekang, Yigeon will still be at disadvantage.

Again, you clearly have never had to deal with an addict in real life.
They are very good at masking and acting normal when they want something. They'll tell you they're clean and act completely fine so you let them in and then immediately fuck you over because they need a fix.
Ask me how I know. Ask me how many thousands of dollars have been stolen for me by addicts. Ask me about the trauma of finding a dead addict in your bathroom because they OD'd on drugs in your house after swearing on their child's life that they were clean.
You are idealizing the uke because he's the main character and you're seeing the world through his eyes. You've had people not listen to you and make wrong assumptions about your character and you know how frustrating that is, so you empathize deeply with him. I've also been there, we all have, and he is a deeply empathetic character.
But I've also been on the other end and I empathize with the seme as well.
They both need to give each other grace.
And readers should try to empathize with both people involved and realize neither of them have really acted out of pocket. The seme was cold, but honestly he wasn't unreasonable or cruel.

This uke is acting like a fucking idiot. Does he have a concussion or something?
THEY HAD A CONTRACT RELATIONSHIP. Why is he acting so shocked and hurt that the seme was getting something out of the contract relationship? The relationship was entirely contractual and until very recently they both treated it like a contract.
Him being upset because the seme had a deal with his grandfather and their contractual relationship fulfilled that deal is ridiculous.
He has so many good reasons to be upset but this is not one of them. This is irrational and stupid.
