This is not all people but sometimes people don't know that they're being mean yk I'm not tryna defend them or something it's just they just don't know, coming from a person who everyone thought was mean
just dont take texts personally unless u need tone tags or sum
Human nature is naturally cruel. Even more so in text where tone of voice can be interpreted arbitraryly. If u dont want them to be mean, u have to inform them not to and set boundaries on how to protect ur feelings
