From Seth's perspective, Nephtys cheated on him, breaking the vow. He thought it's the end for them, that she didn't love him. Then tried to move on, started opening up to Horus, BUT not quite yet. They were slowly growing closer. UNTIL he found out, that Horus kept a secret from him, a rather big one... That Nephtys cheated on him because of the mirror, by skipping the truth, Horus practically lied to Seth...
Now, I think it would be quite natural to,
first - feel betrayed by Horus, thus leaning towards the idea that he was manipulated by Horus to grow closer
second - feel sudden hope about his relationship with Nephtys and longing for bringing things back to how they were before everything got ruined
Him growing closer to Horus wasn't an act by any means, making it hurt so much more when he thought Horus destroyed part of Nephtys that still loved him.
As to what if she said yes (which would be crazy, and she's a badass and icon for stating her feelings so well), Seth would probably feel bad about Horus, making him an awful husband swallowed by guilt not able to still have happy marriage. Both Nephtys and Seth wouldn't be able to, trying to desperately make it right but failing dramatically...
It's obviously really complicated and complex and I think I like the story more and more, so I'm sorry if it's a little too long to read
Yes! and it like people want Horus to get be Seth's servent/simp forever while everyone else gets pride. But Horus has to be a second option. First he ripped out Horus eyes for his ....wife. Now he only wants Horus because his wife rejected him. Horus is just going to accept it. WTf who does that even in a book. Like come on who would do that. Seth didn't even feel sorry for ripping out his eyes. We dont see Seth feel sorry until this moment! when he realised he has no one left. How is that ....love. Ever since Seth ripped out Horus eyes the story has gone down hill.
I feel Seth regrets his actions partly because he realised that Horus, in fact, didn't kill this part of Nephtys. Because when they were arguing what Horus did made his love look like obsession. But Horus is literally the only person that unconditionally loves Seth
I'm just thorn apart because what both of them did was in their character so much. It just would look weird if Seth just accepted the fact that part of Nephtys is trapped in the mirror
Idk what they'll do from now on but I suppose it'll be quite tragic and complicated and I'm kinda in for it

I don’t get it. So does he love Horus or not? Or was all that an act?? Cuz I am pissed. Why is he begging for Nephthis to love him back without any thought about horus. So if she said yes, he would just go with her and leave my horus behind???
