Thats why when Nephyths tells Seth that she met Horus in the mirror but he got out while she didn't, Seth realizes that what Harthor told him about Horus loving him thanks to the mirror was a lie, then he remembers Horus' words about their moments and feelings being real. Thats why Seth's starts to break down, he realizes that with his own hands he hurt Horus the only one who loves him even after all the bad things he did.
Seth wanted to go back to Nephyths due obligation but also because he thought Horus's feelings towards him were a lie just as Nephyths feelings towards Osiris then he thought that Nephyths was going to loving as much as before if she escape the mirror. All Seth was searching for was someone to love him for all he has become. Btw I think Nephyths is being too cruel and selfish towards Seth, not only she is putting all the blame in Seth without knowing what Osiris did but also, even though her memories of loving Seth were sealed, the rest of her was free and thr only thing she did was cry and lock herself, if she was so worried about Anubis why didn't she protect him before.

I totally agree with what you said, if she really claimed to love him she’d stay by his side and change him but no she just gave up and decided to leave unlike Horus. Loving someone is loving them inside out and never giving up on them. What I really hate about everyone else is them blaming Seth for everything without even trying to understand him, I am not trying to justify what he did he was cruel but my point is , some knew what he went through with greensh*t but decided to turn a blind eye and still blame him for everything while Horus knew the real Seth despite all of that he still continues to love and trust him

"Loving someone is loving them inside out and never giving up on them"... until you see them abuse your kid, right in front of you. What kind of self-respecting woman and mother agrees to keep playing house with some dick after that? She's already spent centuries forgiving him and making excuses for him, making herself out to be the worst mother in the universe, by feeling sorry for Seth and for Seth's suffering while completely dismissing her own child Anubis' suffering, and while letting Seth abuse Anubis, again and again. If she wants to recover even a bit of her self-respect, now, then that's something she needs to STOP DOING, and she needs to ATONE for the centuries she unwittingly spent doing it. That is a truth that is not going to disappear, even if she chose to ignore it.

And this is precisely where horus comes in you see. Horus haters love to mischaracterise him when out of everyone hes the only one whos capable of loving seth for alll his wrongs and all his rights. He truly sees seth for who he is ( something seth deeply wants subconsciously even.if he wont voice it and which is why seth fell for horus too) nephyths behavior towards seth rn is justified. As goddess of peace her verdict sounded harsh but its the first step towards a greater good for the restoration of harmony to their homeland ehypt but sometimes peace and comfort offered might not land the.same on the person affected by extreme mental turmoil. Seth rn ran all the way to heliopolis escaping from his apparent heartbreak of thinking horus love was fake. Clinging to his last bits he thought he could seek asylum here in nostalgia n familiarity but as we can see reality was delivered to him but hes not in the correct mindspace to accept it.as it is rn. Atleast im glad he was able to realise he wronged horus deeply and acknowledge horus feelings for him n his own towards horus. Regarding nephyths n seth its unfortunate but despite their blissful life their love was smth thats prevalent irl as well. Duty bound obligatory and layered with expectations. Seth unleashed countless inhuman disasters upon the dissapointment of a failed marriage life a cheating wife he couldn't punish and an illegitimate child he couldn't kill so he turns to helpless women n children torturing them instd of the ones he wanted to and as for nephyths she loved her husband the protector of egypts peace and defender of the land. She pieced his torn soul countless of times and even gave up her harmony to seth so that he vould atone during the probation period n avoid perishing but still then her love wasnt strong enough to go against her divinity ( which she shouldn't ofc) n make it a stigma that has to be carried as price. Its truly unfortunate for everyone

As I understand is not about real or fake with the mirror, both the one trapped in the mirror and the one outside are the same person , the only thing that is fake is the feeling of love outside the mirror. That's why I said, Nephyths is too ignorant in the whole situation. I don't justify Seth but putting all the blame in Seth is unfair, neglecting is also a way of hurting and she did that to Anubis. I know right now what we are seeing is a character development, however she didn't even ask what really happened (Seth wouldn't have told her due his pride but still... ) she went straight to judge him and making it seem like just because they are family she will astonish for her sins next to Seth which again is selfish, and it shows again that Nephthys never had emotional responsibility towards Seth. She loved the idea of peace/balance being with him but was never inlove with Seth as a person.

_End of chapter 5 (Seth brutally beats and cuts up Anubis in front of Nepththys)

_ Middle of chapter 60 (we see the moment drove Anubis to commit suicide: in a flashback between Seth, kid Anubis, and an old man that told Seth that the fugitive Isis was hiding in Kemis, Seth hit Anubis twice, then left him to go after Isis, and that's when a crying kid Anubis ditched Seth in order to go drown himself in the river)

That’s what I keep saying, everyone hating right away on Seth or the fans who like Seth doesn’t make sense. Just because I like him doesn’t also mean I justify everything he’s done but also doesn’t mean I don’t feel sympathy towards what he’s been through. Some here are jumping and being aggressive for no reason.. We’re all here trying to enjoy the manhwa there’s no reason for us to fight because we disagree on something. In my opinion Seth isn’t right but what he’s doing is became of what’s happening and what happened to him (still I don’t justify his past behaviour) my point about was Nephthys still neglects him and acts blind to the situation without trying to understand why he was a cruel god. I compared her to Horus because she is and was his wife shouldn’t she tries to understand him? Or at least help him? Horus ain’t perfect either, but he tried to understand Seth and change him step by step despite what Seth did in the past. Such small behaviour could change a person slowly and that’s what’s happening to Seth. What you said is also absolutely right. That was my opinion, she judged him without giving herself a chance to know the reasons. Don’t claim to love someone deeply if you are so welling to leave right away. However this is how the manhwa goes and hopefully this is a character development for all of them

Not hating on Seth, fam. I just don't think he and Nephthys work as a couple. Horus understands Seth better than Nephthys, yes, but not because he forgives him more than Nephthys: unlike Nephthys, Horus doesn't owe Anubis anything (he barely knows him) and thus Horus doesn't have any obligation to call Seth out on whatever Seth did to Anubis (not even on Seth's part in Anubis' suicide revealed in chap. 19). But Nephthys is Anubis' mother: now that she's "rational" again, she can't just wash her hands off all that stuff and forgive Seth for all of it, without becoming a complete hypocrite (moreover, given her job as the god of peace!). Whereas Horus has already done more than enough to help "get justice" for all that Seth did to his mother, Isis (which wasn't all that bad, given how Isis ran away before Seth even got to do much to her, and offing her horrible husband Osiris even turned out a small *favor* to Isis, in the end... given how Osiris had only been using Isis since day one).
To sum up: Horus doesn't have any more issues to settle with Seth because he's already solved most of his and his mother's problems that Seth had caused them, but Nephthys still has a long way to go in solving the problems that Seth caused for her kingdom (the ruin of peace) and for her son (remember, Anubis is STILL in danger from the curse Seth created, and which is still in Seth's bracelet, because Osiris is now forcing the adult Anubis to EAT IT: Osiris is still trying to force Anubis to sacrifice himself in order to save Seth from the curse in the bracelet, by having Anubis die in Seth's place)

The problem with this story is Horus is always giving his all to Seth while Seth doesn't give a f. Loving someone is loving them inside out and never giving up on them. Seth has never did that for Horus while he done that for everyone else. Horus derives better but this will never let Horus be great. Thats been the same problem since the begining of this story. Very one sided

Sorry but do you have to be this rude? I didn’t take sides and I am not favouring anyone. And most importantly I was not rude towards the other opinions here? This is my opinion as much as everyone has their own opinion about these characters. So please you don’t have to be aggressive if “you” don’t agree with me

The problem is does not Seth love Horus at all ....NO! It he any loved him little bit he would've never ripped out his eyes. The problem with this story is it very one sided between the main couple. I see no love between them especially after the eye incident. Seth does even feel sorry! Horus deserves so much better! But for some reason this story never gives Horus any pride. It weirdest thing. There no love between them. People always say what Horus has done for Seth but what has Seth done for Horus! Sorry I dont not want Horus to go with Seth. I dont know what happened to this story.

True, it seems to me Seth doesn’t want to try or give it a try because he is scared maybe? He feels despite what he does he won’t be loved truly. Honestly right now with how things are going their love seems more one sided like I am not sure if Seth even loves Horus yet, but things are about to be different in the later chapters so many problems need to be solved

Wait so did Seth start to break down more because he realized that Horus kept Nephyths in the mirror to preserve his sanity of the love Seth thought him and Nephyths still shared? And now that she’s out the mirror, Seth realizes that the love isn’t there anymore so Horus was lowkey doing a good thing for Seth by keeping her in the mirror? Or am I just completely wrong and need to re-read everything
