it's like a backstory of their past lives, and what we read/saw in season one was their present life. Since the story is about red string/destiny, the author might wants us to know how the both ended up destined together by showing us their past life.
i kinda lost how they turned up being young, like i know backstory and stuff but why so long ago, like the dressing is quite old, right?
i wanted to keep up with the story but somehow forgot why its so long ago...
