That's right!!! That's why I can't understand why the artist changed his eye color to gray in the comic when it's supposed to be reddish brown - dark brown in the novel Deep reddish brown would suit him so good!
Also, what are they going to do later when it's emphasized later in the story? Cale's eyes are special and the color also has relevance because it's a big clue to other things.
