so would you consider yuri love for his cousin more platonic than romantic? He did love her and was dependent on her kindness but it is not shown to us that he ever had lust for her or maybe I missed something. It was so pure. Who wouldve thought boy was a virgin all this time and he did have very impure thoughts for the teacher once he was catching feelings

God this is my favorite comment ever . Hell yes, yuri didn't love his sister romantically, its just platonic. And yes I was literally shocked and happiest when I found out mr.lee was his first in everything , his world literally revolves around mr.lee . Lord May this kind of love find me

i was thinking the same. to me he was exactly like those guys who fall for a girl after a few days cuz they confuse gratitude with love.

but also maybe he never showed lust toward her bc he put her on this untouchable madonna pedestal, and since those feelings started when he was a kid, it made the gap even bigger (which explains why he kept slutshaming seonwoo lololol).

from what I understood, his love for her was like an only-child's love for a single parent. so it's familial and very platonic, just in huge and excessive amounts cus she was like everything to him.

yeahh i agree, being born in a fucked up family and having ur cousin as the only one who cares for u can misguide a child thinking its romantic love while in truth he doesnt know what love truly is. which is why his realization of 'love' towards mr lee emphasizes the difference!!
