It’s not even a gay x straight pairing cause this is his first love/crush ever so it’s gay x gay but one has bad experiences around being gay and one doesn’t. It’s actually pretty common for those with bad experiences to hide themselves more.
I've noticed this in other korean bl manhwas with gay x straight pairing and this stuff always frustrates me. I don't know if it's cultural, or if it's just a trend, or if it's just me, but I just can't understand why you would assume your best friend who you've known has had feelings for you for YEARS would think you're repulsive cause you're gay? Like, girl he already told you he loves you while he was ramming into your hole like a dog in heat! But, then again this is just fiction
