There’s smtn to be said with Brett and his Ex, Emma, but it’s hard to fully interpret what they’re saying for me personally. I think the snow metaphor is interesting, smtn along the lines of “when you look at the snow, you’ll see your face and realized you’re excited” with Hayden, maybe showing that Brett did feel the same way with Hayden back in their Christmas date, but he couldn’t recognize that feeling (which seems in line). But it’s kinda hard to say since the MTL sucks . Like the difference he treats Emma and Hayden though, you can see his different personalities come to play, said in another comment below.
Also the shoe scene where Brett is stepping on Hayden, probably going way too deep but I like the difference in their socks lol. Brett covered all the way, long socks while Hayden has short ankle socks on. Hayden in the end being more open, more vulnerable and Brett closed off. But it’s also just a nice juxtaposition lol.
The ending where Brett says,”Pinch my nipples harder, coward” oh I SCREAMMED oh they truly haven’t changed a bit haven’t they.
Also prob Mtl things but, does Hayden smell like crab?? Like a crab perfume??
My comment keeps getting cut there’s also smtn to say about the watch, how Brett seems to want to go back to that time almost. Though it’s interesting how he said,” I don’t think I’ll be happy if I get it anymore”. Perhaps about Hayden, though I wonder why, but also maybe about getting “justice” for Hayden instead, in the trial he got what he wanted, but Hayden got away instead.

What Emma said was that you can know if a person loves you by seeing your reflection in their eyes, how they shine, like being drunk.
And oh that chapter ending ... Next chapter he might either destroy him by hitting him or ... By doing something else

This chapter was soooo goood. Was it just me or did Hayden’s alpha-ness just amplified by like 5 times, he looked so good and tall this chapter I was giggling
