Not worth it

This was supposed to be a revenge story where the father, brother, stepsister, stepmother, and prince would have miserable lives and she would get her revenge. After all, they were all involved, whether in the neglect she suffered or in being sold into a brothel. But it was already wrong from the start when she let go of what her brother did and absolved the prince of all blame. The father and stepmother, who are also major villains in her past life, suffer no consequences. Apparently, the only one who will get screwed is the stepsister. I don't know if it's the author's incompetence or bad intentions that led them to make these outrageous decisions. Furthermore, the idea that they were seduced by her sister is stupid; seduction doesn't exist. You can be naive, but your actions are your responsibility. In short, it's not worth reading something so mediocre.

The stepmother wasn't a villain though. I can get the revenge on everyone else but this woman legit did nothing except fuck a married guy. What was she going to do with her commoner poor status, say no to a rich man who'd fund her?
Her daughter was messed up, but she just seems apologetic the entire time.

Doing nothing is already doing something, that's called being an accomplice.. She saw what happened to FL in both lives, but all she knows how to do is play the victim. The daughter is hers; she should have taught her daughter to be a decent person. The responsibility of raising and educating her daughter is hers. Besides, just because she's poor doesn't mean she can be a mistress without guilt. If he didn't force her, the guilt is also hers. Otherwise, she wants to climb the social ladder by screwing over others and still play the victim.

It's shitty writing is what it is. The step-sis is a no hit wonder villain who didn't manage to rattle up shit and out of the author's stubborn resistance to think ends up being this instinctually petty shell of a bitch filled with no personality but spite. FL is a supposed badass, but an actual midtier, luke warm heroine. ML is a walking disappointment by virtue of the author's own plot making him look like some moody supposedly 200+IQ kid who chooses his wife based on a whim.

What makes the writing here even worse is that FL doesn't even contemplate, there is no reflection on her part, on what to do with this new life, and what she wants to do with those who hurt her. And when she has to make a decisoin it's just the usual basic FL forgives and forgets spiel.
It looks like she'll choose revenge at first because she's got this badass streetsmart/ alluring conwoman vibe BUT it ends up going nowhere and is only really used to make ML like her more in the end.

The parents here are generally just decorations if you ask me. Especially the dad, with the mom I think it's understandable that she took the backseat to a certain extent, but I wouldn't say she's not at fault either.
They could've worked out if the author gave them more screentime to kinda explain like EITHER "damn we can't control this demon bc of this or that" (the step-sis could've been part of some greater plan to mess with succession or whatever, but no, she's just a salty whore, womp womp), OR double down on how complacent they are - go out of the way to portray them as negligent parents instead of just letting them sway in the wind halfassedly and move on.
