the novel does it so much better. taekjoo is NOT weak, he's smart. letting zhenya have his way because he knows he can't fight him rn. his planning is more strategic

yesss. its mainly because we can read taekjoo's pov. tbh ajinoki arc was my favorite part of the novel mainly because of taekjoo's resilience
