Most scanlation team does that coz these are in korean and it's hark work where they have to edit, scan, translate so yeah!! They monetize if not then show ads.

Well I do buy coins on official sites but coz I read lots I'll go broke at this rate lol and there's no surety when the particular story that I'm reading on pirated site will be licensed to be uploaded in english. So I do both
When it's licensed I pay or be their patron(was only once) and when it's not I read on unofficial sites, that's how readers are and some aren't at all, now I'm not gonna go n be nagging them to pay who don't pay at all n dictate where they should read n what should they do, none of buisness.
