The novel is basically the same (at least as I remember it) but it's way longer than what we got as the manhwa already. The island ark will continue for quite a while and over time they both change over small nuances, barely noticeable. Once they're off the island it gets more genuine from Zhenyas side, but it had nothing romantically for me. I personally feel like Tj is as much of a freak as Zhenya, which gets clearer later in the story. So it's not really a "falling in love" rather than a "finding your other half".
hm i see but i doubt TJ is as much as a "freak" as Z given that Z isn't even a freak...he's a grapist. And i hope they make it clear in the manhwa atleast that they aren't romantic or soulmates or each others other half because why would u want that from a grapist. If they do get together i hope the manhwa makes it clear that TJ just trauma bonded to Z or something. Most ideal case is that they dont get tg in the Manhwa
But he really didn't trauma bond. I get why it seems that way to people who didn't read the novel, but Tj actually only allowed Z in his life after he had the feeling that Z was genuine. Z even tried to bond with TJs mother and so on, like they're relationship with each other is still not healthy and very toxic, but as the novel goes on it becomes clear that TJ didn't go back to Z because of his trauma rather than his own desire.
you and the people who are glazing you dont need to tell me this genre isnt for me lmao i know that's why im saying im gonna drop it.And ill have you know im not dropping it for the explosives or the cuss words or even if it was plain torture. This manhwa is far more messed up than that and I have a feeling u ppl who actually enjoy it aren't exactly super great so im gonna leave it at that
Wow, so now we're judging people based on a fucking story they like?? Just saying, you absolutely can't think that everyone who likes this kind of FICTION supports/approves of it in reality. I personally like this story because of that art style, the thrill and the anxiety, and since I enjoy reading thrillers (including good written, non sexualized gore) and books that make your toenails curl in general, it's a gem for me. That does NOT mean, that I approve rape, torture and gore in whatever form, but just like many people love horror movies/books because of the goosebumps and thrill, people enjoy this story. And same as you wouldn't say that people, who enjoy horror, are bad and cruel, you can't force a stereotype on readers of this genre. Sure, there are a few very weird people reading this, but definitely not everyone.

i hope this isn't a romance novel. If the author tries to convince us that by the end they have genuine feelings for each other, i would be very concerned
