it is though there are lines that barely connect and every time there is a more complex sentence the meanings are ambiguous at best. you can tell there are spots where the translator be it a person or a machine just didn't understand what the story was trying to say and it makes the narrative extra messy.
I see. I reread chapter 39 and there were indeed some ambiguous lines.
One such line for me was when the main character was talking about the blood having too many impurities to have been pure blood. Though that was right after a skip and there was only soil, no blood.
I think the main issue was that the story kept skipping around. This made it more difficult to pick up on context clues about what was being discussed. For the reader's and most likely, the translator as well.
The second issue could be related to sentence structure. Since this is translated, the sentence structure might not translate perfectly into English, and it might be difficult to change it with the limitations of speech bubbles.
At the end of the day, these translators might not even be professionals. Their translations might not always be flawless, but they are doing this for free in their spare time. So, let's be thankful. Let's be kind. And if you really love a story so much that you want a flawless translation, then save up some money and support the author by buying the official translation.
Sorry for coming at you like that. Your comment just stood out to me for some reason. ( ̄∇ ̄")
it is. if you haven't noticed, one of the most prominent mistakes that this team does continuously is using the wrong pronouns for characters among other things. if it was just once in a single dialogue then it would've been understandable, but repeatedly throughout different dialogues? it's like they don't care about the quality of their work or the readers.
they upload so many series rapidly and practically all of them suffer from the same poor translation when i read them. if you open bato and look at their recent releases, most of them will be from this team and all of the translations are average at best to downright terrible. not even major scan teams like mosh scans or mgs upload that much!
their credit picture that many teams use to properly appreciate the people that worked on a series only state "staff" and never the actual name of whoever worked on it. i'm honestly half convinced that their translations are unedited mtl and the only thing they put effort in is typesetting. whoever is running this scan team is clearly just in it for the cash grab, which is already illegal in and of itself considering scans are supposed to be volunteer work.
this team IS terrible. this series deserves better.

I wish this manhwa got picked up by a translator who actually knows what they're doing
