Exactly! All he did was blame his behavior on his background, he didn’t even take any responsibility for his actions, he didn’t feel apologetic at all-
What pisses me off the most is how he talks to victims, he never even feels sorry for what they’ve gone through, the only point he tries to make is that “not all perpetrators are always bad”? Like what kind of logic does he have?
He also stated “I had no reason to commit-”, in order words, if he had a reason, he’d still do it. If he didn’t have money, he’d still b34t people up and take theirs? His logic’s so flawed man-
I really hope we can see him being placed in the position of a victim to see how he deals with that

I just know he wouldn’t be able to hold onto his principles, as he hasn’t been a victim himself, asides his background, he has no other excuse, he has always been the perpetrator, I want to see how he’d react if he becomes a victim.
I don’t know if author will let us see it. I don’t mean him being betrayed by a kid or anything, but actual lifelong trauma, how would he deal with that? That’s what I wanna see

Am I the only one who thinks that the lawyer didn’t really change all that much either since he was a kid? I mean, in his entire story it is shown that he regrets acting the way he did, because it led him on a wrong path. Not once was he shown to be actually apologetic to his victims, apologetic for hurting people. His entire POV is him excusing his behavior because of the circumstances. Not only that, he feels entitled to forgiveness and resents people holding criminals accountable. He may not beat people up anymore, but with the way he still completly dismisses victims and only protects and sympathizes with perpetrators, how exactly did he change? He just has a good job now, he still disregards hurting innocent people. He cares about the crimes those kids commit, because they are ruining their own lives, not because they are hurting someone. That’s my biggest problem here. Not only is he biased and naive, he still completely disregards victims and acts like the perpetrators are the real victims, gets upset at the fact that people don’t just forgive them and let it go. I get it, those kids had it rough, not an excuse to take it out on innocent people though. I also wonder, if he’s all about forgiveness, did he forgive his father? I wonder, if someone really wronged him then would he be so quick to forgive them as well? I really hope they show it in the future, I just want to know if when he’s on the other side of things would he really follow through with his principles.
