i want y'all to know that in the original novel victor has a wife but he seems gay asf cause he describes henry with the exact same if not more enthusiasm than his wife- like henry dies and he's so overcome with grief then his wife dies and he just goes “oh well this sucks”

my only critique is he needs to get sick and pass out more because he spends half the novel just constantly ill for no reason

Technically he has a fiancee -- they never actually got married-- named Elizabeth, just look up frankenstein pdf

yeah, the original novel was written way back then and there (clearly) wasn’t any gay literature at the time The novel is actually amazing though! I really recommend it. Though, it’s nothing like this. henry and victor are simply friends, and victor is soon to be married to his fiancé. Henry and victor have pretty nice scenes together overall tho :3 but the book is more focused on victor and his creation

no ik lmao. I had to annotate the book for my english class and was fighting the urge to write “gay?” on half their scenes. they definitely have tension but they are not canon LOL

its classical literature lol, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley go support your local library. I’m sure you could also find a pdf easy online. Its part of many schools curriculum.

Theres also a netflix movie that just released, its not very accurate to the novel but it gives you an idea of what happens.
