It’s the book character he possessed. Not to mention, Book Character Hajin was literally neglected and both mentally and emotionally abused by his parents as a child and while growing up. It’s sad, honestly. He’s not useless, just a tragic male character.

I just think its so funny that swimming is apparently an innate bodily attribute like alcohol tolerance rather than a learned skill. Like you could be fuckin michael phelps, but if you transmigrate into hajin's body you'd suddenly forget how to tread water
Yeah I get that but like cmon man there's so many other notable ways to portray someone like hajin, he doesn't improve at all and doesn't stay away from those things either. Like it's not even book hajin making these decisions it's mentally stable hajin. It's just annoying when he forgets hajin can't do certain things and has to be saved over and over again. Like if the author wanted to have hajin be saved by seonwoo and empathize with him, I wished they did it differently and not so repetitive. So unfortunately had to drop.
Some people who have had heart transplants (and other organ transplants) can experience visions and memories of what the original owner experienced (like how they died, their hobbies, tastes in food and fashion, etc.). It’s fascinating and absolutely believable to me that the Real Hajin couldn’t swim being inside the trauma-ridden Character Hajin.

I think him not being able to do those things is not the problem, it's the fact that he needs constant saving by the ml that is the problem.
