Ughhhh - this erupted a word vomit out of me

Ml sucks cause hes being an overbearing pest now after being an absent ass

Mc sucks because boy stand your gd ground

They both suck because have we learned NOTHING about being truthful and how hiding shit goes no where??

Pretty much only reading because I sunk 58 chapters into this and im in "curious to how much worse it'll get mode"

Not that I have any authority on anything ever (word vomit incoming)

But I would've done it (starting from.the begining)
Ml doesnt realize feelings - MC runs away (SUCCESSFULLY, not just for 2 weeks but maybe like 2 months) - MC and Ml reunite for a bit, but ML hasn't changed at all - ML learns about pregnancy and has to deal with that - ML realizes feelings - MC leaves to the island (and tells his mom about it this time) - time skip about 3-5 years - MC is raising kid by himself and finally decides to go back to live with his mom so he can get a job/kid can go to school - reunites with ML - mc has grown by devloping a gd backbone while ml has finally got a grasp on empathy - awkward reunion followed by ML actually showing that hes grown and not just lovebombing badly - flashback to ML actually coming to terms with his feelings and understanding/why/ what he did was shitty - arc starts of ML and MC learning about their "new" selves while on more equal footing (also ML is not allowed to meet the kid because MC has no trust in him staying in their life. Ml has to actively earn that back) - etc

Idk someone can probably write a better "whaf if" then me but good lord give us character growth not random character whiplash
