It's clear Byul heard snipets of the whole story, internalised them and Hyesung never really had the talk with him, because who wants to explain their traumatic experiences to their young child on how his grandma blamed his mother for the lack of contact and dad was a douchebag who baby trapped the mom.
Dojin monion was always weird and an arse.
Yes, exactly!! And I do still love Heesung, but I also think he lacks awareness. I know he went through somewhat of a character development when he was hiding Hyesung and saw him struggling, but I cannot forget that he constantly accused Hyesung, the literal victim, of things that weren't even his fault, and contributed to his suffering with his verbal abuse.
Other than Dojin and Hyesung themselves, he was the only outsider who knew the whole story from the start. That's why him just loosely talking about that sensitive history, on MULTIPLE occasions, is so problematic in the first place. Because it's most likely from all these conversations that Byul heard snippets of the story in the first place.
Obviously, Hyesung and Dojin should've known to shut him down before he could say anything more, but the fact he keeps bringing it up is what irks me. And even when he talks about it, you can tell the author still paints Hyesung as the 'troublesome' one during that time instead of a victim, writing things like "How did you put up with him for two months?" as if Hyesung was ever the burden.
Honestly, maybe it's more just a bad decision from Fargo's end. Why'd you make them do that

As much as Dojin and Byul are wrong here (more Dojin than Byul, Byul is just a naive kid who doesn't know anything), I'd like to pin the blame on Heesung here too. It was so stupid of him to bring up the past when he KNOWS Byul is literally living under that roof too and that Dojin and Hyesung don't want him to know about that stuff. And the fact that IT WASN'T THE ONLY time he's brought it up is so wacky and careless. Like, Hyesung (or Dojin, who knows) literally asks him, "How many more times are you gonna bring up this same story?" It's like he was practically begging for Byul to find out about it...
