Not sure about the author stuff but basically the grandmother ran off with some other alpha and didn’t take her kid (hyesung) with her because she didn’t want her new guy to know she had a kid; which left hyesung to stay with his abusive dad.
Apparently she did try and go back for him or I think at least see him (not too sure) but was told by the abusive dad that hyesung did not want to see her.
I believe afterwards she was either found by dojin OR she looked for them after seeing pictures of both dojin and hyesung together with their kid Byul.
Its pretty controversial because the pictures were taken kinda like in a paparazzi way so hyesung was like wtf you only sought me out because im with a celebrity and the mom was like well you could have looked for me too or something like that.
Also forgot to mention but Dojin purposely got hyesung pregnant. Like he literally thought, “I need a reason for this guy whom I met a week ago to somehow stay with me so he can never leave me.”
Dojin technically grapes him multiple times throughout the manwga but the author tries to show it as a look hes enjoying it kinda way. Its very uncomfortable.
(So yeah ig this is why the author is getting a lot of hate)
Also, Hyesung did not know he was an omega at all and genuinely believed he was an alpha.
So he gets pregnant and does not take it well; he wants to abort the baby. And dojins like, “I can pay you handsomely if you dont.” and hyesungs like “well shit I can start my life with this money, fine but im not taking care of this baby im dipping afterwards”.
Dojins like thats fine lets make a contract but actually im gonna make you try and bond with this baby as much as I can so you dont leave us.
He does.
But then he comes back after like a few months or two idk I don’t remember.
Right I never understood why the comment section at the time when this came out were hating on hyesung when he never wanted any of that at the time and was coerced into this. Plus when he followed the agreement only to have dojin and his friend guilt trip him. Like they're happy now and hyesung loves byul but the comment section were too harsh on hyesung and sort of glazed over dojin.
im lowk confused by the comments tho, im seeing MORE like MAJORITY MORE hating on HS when hes clearly the victim here, we could say that he wanted/did abandon byul for a few months(?) and wanted to abort him, but thats litterally a valid response from him (from what i read through countless comments) not only he is raped(?) he's also forced to have that child.
dojin is the villian of the story wtf and his mum too, why is she tryna connect NOW??
Yeah hyesung got a lot of hate early on not just because he did leave byul for two months but because when he “came back” he didn’t exactly do it on purpose he just stumbled upon dojin and the baby at the park (it was a funny interaction) also he kinda had a…how do I say this in a good way... “money-motivated” attitude.
Basically during his pregnancy he would spend a lot of money on himself and didn’t want to think about the fact that he was pregnant at all and would start panicking whenever it would be brought to his attention. He just wanted to give birth, forget about it, and move on with his life.
I re read some chapters and hyesung was the one who came up with the contract but thats only because Dojin was asking him to keep the baby; that he was going to take care of it and hyesung did not have to be involved at at. Eventually he said bet but you need to pay me to give birth and we need a contract saying you’re going to take care of it and not dump the baby on me.
Dojin was fine with that as long as hyesung lived with him during the pregnancy but it was mostly so that he could get hyesung to bond with the baby and him.
In a way he did but left because he thought Dojin lied and was going to dump the baby on him. Every thing is so complicated tbh.
If you ever do decide to read it you only really have to force yourself through the first 20 chapters

... i feel like im missing out sm for not reading the orig manwha.. can someone fill me up with the story and the reason the author's getting flamed
